Some wedding days simply feel special, and Gaby and Oscar's was definitely one of them.
On June 20, we had the joy of photographing their beautiful wedding here in Woodland, California. From the very beginning of the day, you could see how excited they were to finally celebrate this new chapter together with the people they love most.
One of our favorite moments happened before the ceremony, when Gaby and Oscar took a few quiet minutes to read their personal vows to each other. It was such a genuine and emotional moment that made their wedding feel even more personal.
Their Christian ceremony was filled with love and faith. Gaby looked beautiful as she walked down the aisle with her two sons by her side, while Oscar couldn't hide the smile on his face as he watched his bride walk toward him.
After the ceremony, everyone celebrated at Nelson's Grove. Even though it was a warm June day, the breeze made it a comfortable afternoon to enjoy the outdoor reception.
The celebration included many beautiful Mexican wedding traditions, along with some unique surprises. One of the most memorable moments was when the couple's oldest son performed a song on the electric guitar, creating a moment that everyone truly enjoyed.
Guests were treated to delicious homemade food prepared by the bride's mother, great drinks, and an evening full of laughter, dancing, and celebration. It was wonderful to see family and friends enjoying every moment together.
As photographers, these are the memories we love capturing—the real smiles, happy tears, hugs, and all the little moments that make every wedding unique.
